Prosta-Herb® is a food supplement whose specialized formula contains several traditionally used plants such as pomegranate, cranberry, dwarf palm and papaya. Furthermore, Prosta-Herb® also contains quercetin, bromelain and zinc in its composition. The Pros ta-Herb® formulation was specially designed for use by men aged 40 and over.
Pomegranate
Pomegranate plays an important role in regulating PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) levels, which are generally increased in cases of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). Several studies have proven the antioxidant and antitumor activity of pomegranate extracts.
dwarf palm
It has inhibitory properties of 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that transforms testosterone into its active metabolite, dihydrotestosterone, responsible for the increase in prostate volume. Dwarf palm has an important anti- inflammatory action and prevents the proliferation of cells originating from Benign Prostate Hyperplasia.
Zinc
It has inhibitory properties of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to the protection of cells against undesirable oxidation.
Bromelain
It has an important anti-inflammatory action, being an excellent help in reducing symptoms associated with BPH.
