Licorice

Licorice's main active ingredient is glycyrrhizic acid (or glycyrrhizin). Among others, several studies have been carried out with licorice, regarding its possibility of helping in the treatment of prostate cancer. Licorice supports the function of the entire reproductive system, helps maintain the health of the urinary system and contributes to prostate health.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate has an important role in regulating PSA (prostate-specific antigen) levels, which are usually increased in cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Several studies also confirm the antioxidant and antitumor activity of pomegranate extracts.

Pumpkin

Several studies report the use of pumpkin seed oil in relieving symptoms associated with BPH ( Benign Prostate Hyperplasia).

Palmetto

Palmetto is a small palm tree whose fruits are used for their benefits in genitourinary disorders. They contain phytosterols that inhibit dihydrotestosterone, responsible for the increase in prostate volume. Palmetto is therefore indicated for the relief of symptoms such as increased frequency, discomfort and pain when urinating, usually associated with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia.

Lycopene

Studies show that this phytonutrient is effective in improving symptoms associated with BPH and regulating PSA levels. There is also evidence that among men who regularly consume tomatoes or tomato-based products, there is a lower chance of developing prostate cancer.
