Omega-3 MaxPower contains 700mg EPA and 500mg DHA per daily dose. The 3 main omega-3 fatty acids are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These are important in several organic functions including muscle activity, blood clotting, digestion, fertility, cell division and growth. DHA is important in brain development and function and ALA is an essential fatty acid.
Main indications: Hypertriglycerinemia, cardiovascular disease and hypertension, prevention of obstruction after angioplasty, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, hepatic steatosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Other indications: In the adjuvant treatment of endometriosis, arterial hypertension or renal damage caused by cyclosporines, dyspraxia, dysmenorrhea and PMS, heart failure and coronary transplantation, hypercholesterolemia caused by HIV/AIDS or after kidney transplantation, IgA nephropathy, osteoporosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis .
How to take: 2 Capsules per day with water, during meals. Take <=> 2 capsules daily
Health claims: DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function; DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision; EPA and DHA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily dose of 250 mg of EPA and DHA; Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against unwanted oxidation.
