Imucold® Adults has a combination of several traditionally used plants such as thyme, elderberry, lavender, Scots pine, Icelandic lichen, cloves and oregano, which give the formulation unique characteristics. These plants contribute to a calming effect on the respiratory tract, helping to relieve coughs and reduce symptoms of throat irritation. It is suitable for adults and children from 6 years of age and has the advantage of not containing added sugars in its formulation.
Thyme
It is traditionally used for various types of respiratory conditions . Thyme has an antiseptic and antibacterial action. Furthermore, it acts as an expectorant, facilitating the fluidization of bronchial secretions, which makes it an asset in situations of productive cough.
Icelandic lichen
The polysaccharides present in its composition are deposited along the respiratory tract and form a layer that soothes irritated mucous membranes and protects them from external agents. The Icelandic lichen also has an important role as an expectorant.
Scots Pine
Some of its traditional uses include the proper functioning of the respiratory tract and strengthening the immune system. Its oil is known to have antibacterial, antifungal , antiviral, antiseptic and expectorant effects. It is an excellent help in relieving symptoms associated with colds and flu.
Cravinho
It has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral action. It has immunostimulating, expectorant properties and anti -inflammatory action .
Oregano
It has important antibacterial and antiviral properties. Some of its constituents also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
