Of Asian origin, the tangerine arrived in Europe at the beginning of the 19th century. Distilled mandarin essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fruit. It is appreciated for its very relaxing action and calming properties. It is a relaxation oil suitable for young and old. Its fresh and deliciously fruity notes provide an irresistible aroma in sweet and/or savory dishes.
