Originally from North Africa, oregano became famous for its use in pizzas. In Greece, the leaves were used to make poultices to treat muscle pain. Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine, used this plant to treat digestive and respiratory problems.
Therapeutic effects
Powerful anti-infective with a wide range of action (respiratory, intestinal, urogenital, venous, lymphatic glands, etc.), and anti-bacterial. General tonic.
Indications
Use in cases of viral or bacteriological respiratory infections. Its action makes it particularly useful when traveling to tropical destinations (malaria, dysentery).
Precautions
Dermocaustic, apply to the skin only diluted in vegetable oil. Do not ingest. Do not use on pregnant women.
