Cinnamon was widely used by the Egyptians for embalming. In Chinese medicine it is used for its purifying and fortifying properties. Among the Greeks and Romans, cinnamon was well known for having a diuretic, tonic and antiseptic effect. In Ayurveda medicine it is recommended for colds and bronchitis. Also widely used in cooking. It is also known for its aphrodisiac properties.

Therapeutic effects:
Powerful anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiviral, stimulant in general.

Indications:
Effective on the gastro-urinary system. Intestinal antifungal mainly in tropical climates.

Precautions:
This essential oil has a corrosive effect on the skin if used undiluted. Should not be used on children. For adults, it should be very well diluted in 1st cold pressed vegetable oil. Do not ingest. Do not use on pregnant women.
