S-Adenosyl Methionine (SAMe) is a compound produced naturally in the body and plays a crucial role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters are necessary in regulating mood, emotions and general mental well-being.
