Lucidus® Neuro+ is a brain tonic, in capsules, with several active ingredients in its composition, including traditional plants such as Rhodiola rosea and Bacopa monnieri , in a formula reinforced with Griffonia, which contains 5-HTP, and vitamins of complex B. Due to the presence of some ingredients , such as vitamin B6, they will also contribute to psychological well-being and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Rhodiola
Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogen agent with the ability to normalize the body's functions and protect it against a series of environmental factors and emotional conditions (1) . It is used for its action on the nervous system, relieving depression and improving physical performance (2,3) .
Griffonia simplicifolia
Griffonia simplicifolia is a plant found in the western parts of Africa. The seeds contain 5-hydroxytryptophan (5- HTP). 5-HTP is a substance synthesized in our body from tryptophan. It is later transformed into serotonin, an important neurotransmitter responsible for regulating mood, sleep, anxiety, appetite and which contributes to emotional well-being (4,5) .
