Rhodiola rosea, Rhodiola

Rhodiola is an adaptogen agent, which normalizes the body's functions and protects it against external factors. This plant positively influences the levels and activity of several important neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline. Mainly due to the increase in serum tonin levels, it contributes to improving states of despondency, improving mood and regulating sleep. Furthermore, rhodiola has a calming action, which contributes to general well-being.

Griffonia simplicifolia

Griffonia simplicifolia is a plant found in western parts of Africa. The seeds contain 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). 5-HTP is a substance synthesized in our body from tryptophan. It is later transformed into serotonin, an important neurotransmitter responsible for regulating mood, sleep, anxiety and appetite and which contributes to emotional well-being.

GABA

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an amino acid naturally produced in the brain, and acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. The fluctuation in GABA concentration levels in the brain can be directly reflected in the functioning of the human body. It acts on GABA receptors, therefore exerting an anxiolytic and sedative action.

Withania somnifera, also known as Ashwagandha or Indian ginseng, is a shrub found in India, the Middle East and Africa. It is traditionally used because it is a plant with adaptogenic properties.
